Debut album “Serendipity” by contemporary classical duo Oknovokean is out today. I was happy to produce this work and help with the release. This album took over two years to record, produce and finally push it out to the world.

My new work “Fragments” releasing March 18th on Oclassica label. Set of thirteen piano vignettes written between 2019 and 2021. An important body of work that includes homages to most influential composers for me: Ravel, Debussy, Banevich and Copland. A continuous narrative, reflecting on the different aspects of contemplation: poetic, emotional, meditative, melancholic and restrained.

One of the first pieces I’ve written back in 2011 as impression after watching “Farewell to St.Petersburg” a Russian movie about Strauss’s summer season in Pavlovsk, Russia in 1857.

First Ravel piece that I’ve played 15 or so years ago. Small prelude written in 1913 for Paris conservatory sight-reading competition and dedicated to Jeanne Leleu. Here’s my take on this small piece.

Recently I started my journey through Ned Rorem’s piano album no.1. Really touching pieces that I admire and love so much. Watch few performances that I recorded so far.

My take on Nico Muhly’s “Hudson Cycle”. Took me a while to learn it and play. It’s fascinating how different parts of the piece can throw you off so easily. I can’t complain I have small hands but learning chords in couple of places were pretty challenging.
